Camp

My time to go to camp. A camp the junior associasion are arranging at the west coast. A good opportunity to talk with some people. It will be cold, it will be rainy, and it will be windy. I will be staying in a tent. Hopefully for the last time this summer. Those who reads this blog and can fix that – you know what you`ll have to do.

And now i have heart that there are mosquitos there also. Usually there is bad weather or many mosquitos. Now there are both. What kind of mosquitos is this? Are they flying against the wind, or have they small umbrellas? Shall be interesting.

Will probably be offline since the connection there is not so good, so don`t expect any life signs from me until the weekend. If it takes longer time you might start to be worried.

Midsummer

Noone celebrates midsummer as the swedes. We have a celebration on the 23rd of June where we have bonfires and burn witches. (It`s the only day of the year where we are allowed to burn them now.) But the swedes have the entire weekend. Something i discovered on Saterday when i had planned to do some shopping in Stockholm before i flew home. But everything was as closed as it had been the day before. I don`t know – maybe they need a day off after midsummer eve, when they dance the frog dance around the midsummer pole.

The celebrations has it´s more darker side also, unfortunately. This is the two major newspapers in Sweden the day after -

The paper on top says – “7 smart ways to cure your hangover”. The paper at the bottom concentrates on what one might call society`s hangover – “Accidents, drunkeness and troubles on midsummer parties”. They don`t suggests any cure for that.

Exam

Another thing i havn`t written anything about is my exam in Public Relations (Informasjon og samfunnskontakt). I have no idea how it went, except i know that the home assignment went OK. It was not the questions i had wanted, but i answered them so i don´t think it went too bad.

Exams never change, either. It`s the same old exam guards. Well, not the same, but they are old. And the strange copypaper which i don`t see anywhere else. And i do the same mistake everytime. Stack the papers on top of eachother and start writing. And after i have done that i discover that it has been copied on all the other papers underneath so i have to new ones.

I`ll probably know the answer in the end of the month about how it went.

Blog-writing

Sometimes having a blog seems like a small responsibility. You feel a bit guilty when you have nothing to write about, or when you should have written something but forgot it. Some days or even weeks ago there was a real heatwave here for instance. I was thinking of writing something about that, but then i forgot it. And now it seems a bit late. But TV-shows has been made from talking about nothing, so i guess a blog could be made of it also.

I found an old diary of mine the other day when i was throwing away papers, from the last year in high school. Not many entries, i was never any good at writing diaries. And when i did it was usually because i was depressed beause of something, so it is seldom very uplifting things to find , even though these wasn?t too bad. Some of it seemed similar to thoughts i have today actually. Guess something never change. Or i keep fighting the same things.

I also found some old norwegian exams from school. Those were not so good reading. Like the one were i was advocating introducing the death penalty in Norway. Ouch. I think some of the things i wrote at that time could be another good reason why the voting ages should stand on 18, and not be lowered.

Not easy being a supporter

Last night Lillestrøm lost it`s cup match against a team from 3rd division! How much misery, how much embarresment, how much anguish are they going to drag us through this year, i wonder. Sigh.

The coach has allready been sacked, so the next to go must be the manager, and then he can take some of the players with him as well.

Exams

In one of our folk fairytales, one of the characters has 8 springs and 9 winters inside of him (appr.). He has to keep his mouth shut, and hold for his nose so that they won`t fly out. I feel something similar. Tomorrow i have an exam in Public Relations, a course i have been following this semester. And now the goal is just to keep what i have learned inside of me until tomorrow afternoon. They i most probably will go blank. The assignments that i have been wrting has gone OK, so i think i know the basics. But you never know what they might ask. So i keep my mouth shut and hold for my nose.

Meeting blog Day 2

I almost forgot to blog. One hour has gone. More active today. But now it starts getting warm again.

Seems like i will actually get something approved today.

I want to go to the beach.

I try not to eat to many raisins today, btw. My stumic didn`t approve it yesterday. I see an apple.

I missed the apple and reached for the banana instead. Thirsty. Grapes.

One hour and half an hour. First break. No. Someone had to say something more…

Another quarter went. Food in an hour. Break. Oxygen!

White Christmas. Strange project to discuss at the moment.

Grapes are raisins just earlier in the process.

So easy. Why havn`t we thought about that before. Oh, yea. We did.

Not so much noise from the building workers today. But they are working hard on a saterday. Hope they get paid as they should.

Meeting blog Day 1

It`s friday. It`s warm outside, and of course i am at a board meeting. Not logical. I`m tired. This might be the only warm day this summer.

Someone is tearing down the building while we have a meeting. Unpractical. Big bangs.

I would like to say something here, but it is really not my place. Unfortunately. I have a bit different angle to this problem.

Yep. Don`t demotivate people Important.

One item. One hour.

Ok. Now it`s more a picnic in the park. A pleasent doze have fallen over the meeting. Atlest over me. It`s friday evening and a plesent temperature.

First break after 1 hour and 45 minutes. They are doing good today.

Better lay flat.

There are some really nice pictures of flowers on the wall here.

Sometimes attack is not the best defence. But i`m still in picnic-mood.

Maybe it`s the temperature.. I`m not able to be upset today.
